Call priorities in Benton County

The Benton County Sheriff Office reports they just lost their 5th road deputy to another job. Sheriff Eric Knox tells us the current staffing situation is requiring them to prioritize calls.

According to Sheriff Knox, calls will be taken in the order of severity. Currently, with the help of administrative officers and reserve deputies, the Benton County generally has 2 road deputies on every shift.
