The General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital at Fort Leonard Wood has received a limited supply of FLU vaccines. Appointments to receive this year’s flu vaccine can be scheduled by calling the appointment line at 1-866-299-4234. The hospital’s main priority is for Fort Wood’s service members and beneficiaries to be safe and protected. Service members can get their FLU shots at Harper Clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on a walk-in basis. Units can get additional information for scheduling from MSCoE  Flu OPORD. For family members, ages 18 and older, the PX Vaccination Clinic is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only. Please call (866) 299-4234 for an appointment. Limited numbers of the flu vaccine will be offered daily. Pediatric doses of the flu vaccine are offered daily by walk-ins at the GLWACH Immunizations Clinic. For retirees, the PX Vaccination Clinic is open from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only. The PX Clinic will be closed from November 11th to 12th for Veteran’s Day observance. 65 and older high dose flu shots are offered daily by walk-ins at the GLWACH Immunizations Clinic beginning today. Department of the Army civilians who have a Position Description that requires the flu vaccination can attend a Mass Vaccination Event at Nutter Field House from November 16th through the 20th during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This does not require an appointment.
