(Jefferson City)–The Missouri Highway Patrol will provide written knowledge testing for commercial driver license applicants with essential needs this week. The C-D-L written tests will be limited to specific testing locations statewide.
Troop I applicants should call 573-368-2345 to determine locations and times these services are offered. The Patrol will restrict the number of applicants allowed in each facility to ensure that the recommended social distancing measures are followed. All applicants should wear appropriate face coverings while at the facility. The Patrol is requesting that members of the public refrain from taking a C-D-L written examination if you, a member of your household, a family member, or other personal acquaintance has been diagnosed with Covid-19…if you have had contact with any person diagnosed, or suspected of having Covid-19…if a medical professional, hospital staff, or other health agency representative has asked you to self-quarantine…or if you have unexplained fever, cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms related to Covid-19 or another upper respiratory infection.
If you are unsure about whether you meet any of these criteria, you are asked to postponed seeking a written C-D-L examination and return at a later date.
