Business Highway 54 Over Bagnell Dam To Close Tuesday

Business Route 54 (Bagnell Dam) in Miller County is scheduled to close tomorrow for concrete repairs. Ameren Missouri, working under a Missouri Department of Transportation permit, will close Bagnell Dam to all traffic at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12. This routine maintenance work is only expected to take a few hours and the roadway should reopen at or before 4 p.m. that same day.

Message boards are in place, in advance of the closure, to advise motorists to plan an alternate route tomorrow.

All work is weather permitting and schedules are subject to change.

MoDOT asks all motorists to work with them by buckling up, putting their phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
