Burn Ban in Effect in Lebanon

Due to current hot weather and dry conditions, a burn ban has been issued for the City of Lebanon. Open burning of any kind is prohibited until conditions improve. The City of Lebanon sent out a Nixile alert last (Saturday) night at 4:54 PM to advise residents of the ban. A heat advisory remains in effect until 8 PM tonight (Sunday), and according to the National Weather Service, Elevated wildfire potential will continue where little or no rain occurs.
