A burglar that was found inside a Summersville home was held at gunpoint, by witnesses, until law enforcement arrived on Friday. According to Texas County Sheriff Scott Lindsey, the homeowner of a residence on Route W arrived to find 33 year old William T Hebert inside. A relative of the home owner reportedly held Hebert at gunpoint until additional family members and deputies arrived. When deputies arrested Hebert he attempted to resist arrest, bite the deputies and move to the driver seat of the patrol vehicle.   

Hebert was taken to the Texas County Jail and is charged with first degree Burglary, and Attempt to Tamper with a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $400-thousand-dollars.
