Burglars arrested in Stoutland

Two women were arrested on Tuesday after being caught inside a house where they didn’t belong. The house on Marshall Road in Stoutland was unoccupied, but a witness saw that there were several vehicles parked there, and reported it to the School Resource Officer. When they arrived Camden County Deputies found 22 year old Ashley M Blackburn, of Camdenton, and 27-year-old Amber L Juergens, of Richland, inside the residence where they were ripping the copper wiring from inside the walls. According to the report from the Sheriff’s Office, Blackburn and Juergens claimed to have permission from the property owner to collect scrap metal from the residence to sell, but when the owner was contacted they said the women didn’t have permission. Blackburn and Juergens are both charged with Felony of Burglary in the 2nd Degree and are being held on $5,000 surety bonds.
