Buffalo woman dies after being hit by pickup

A woman from Buffalo was killed in a vehicle-pedestrian accident shortly after noon on Thursday. 50-year-old, Jody L. Ray, was attempting to cross the northbound lanes of U-S 65, and was struck by a truck driven by 73-year-old Arlin V. Crump, of Buffalo. Ray was pronounced dead at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Crump was not injured. No charges have been filed at this time. That accident happened two miles south of Buffalo.
