Buffalo man charged with domestic assault

A Buffalo man is being held on a bond of $40-thousand-dollars for the alleged assault of his paramour. On Sunday, Buffalo Police responded to a call in the 1-thousand block of West McDaniel for a domestic assault. Officers spoke with the victim who said that 54 year old Daniel Steen had been verbally abusing her and threatening her. The woman said that Steen became angry after waking up and was demanding access to personal property. She said he was yelling obscenities at her, chest bumped her, and while she was on the ground kicked at her. She also said that Steen had a table leg and she felt he was threatening her with it. Steen is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and domestic assault.
