A Buffalo man is facing multiple charges after pointing a handgun at family members. Buffalo Police responded to a well-being check at the 600 Block of East Missouri Street on Monday. During the call, the officer spoke with one person who said that Zachary Beeman had pointed a gun at him 4 or 5 times in the past. As the officer continued to investigate, he was told that Beeman had been waving the gun around and had threatened to shoot a woman who was staying in the home. Beeman reportedly had made statements that he is an undercover police officer and an FBI Agent, and carries an FBI badge. The gun that Beeman was accused of threatening other family members with, had been reported stolen in March. Beeman told the officer that someone must have put it in his vehicle after he reported it stolen. 23-year-old Zachary Douglas Beeman is charged with 3 counts of unlawful use of a weapon and one count of domestic assault. His bond was set at $100-thousand cash or surety.
