Bryant homicide investigation continues

The investigation into the murder of 62 year old Alden Bryant of Lebanon, continues. Mr Bryant’s body was found outside of his burned home on Oklahoma Drive on July 11th. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap explains that time is a factor in most homicide investigations…
Sheriff Millsap said until there is an arrest they play it pretty close to the vest, but they are making progress in the investigation. An autopsy last week revealed that Mr. Bryant died from blunt force trauma. His truck, which was missing from the scene, was recovered in Springfield, and the driver Sterling King of Billings was arrested on a charge of drug possession. Sterling is also charged in Laclede County with a violation of an order of protection and on Friday was charged with second degree murder and arson.
