Bowman Found Guilty On Sexual Abuse and Sodomy Charges On Wednesday (April 12th)

The trial of a 49-year-old Lebanon man charged with four counts of Sexual Abuse and one count of Forcible Sodomy came to a conclusion on Wednesday afternoon (April 12th). Michael G. Bowman was found guilty on all charges by a Laclede County jury. The investigation into Bowman began when the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office received a call indicating a possible child sexual assault. A child advocate interviewed the victim, and she disclosed several incidents when Bowman touched her inappropriately. Those incidents date all the way back to 2012. Bowman served as his own counsel during the trial. The trial was presided over by Judge Kenneth Hayden. Bowman is scheduled to be sentenced for his crimes on July 7th.
