(Fort Leonard Wood)–This coming Monday is Martin Luther King Junior Day, and King’s life and legacy will be celebrated this month with a variety of displays of books and media items at the Bruce C. Clarke Library at Fort Leonard Wood. The library has more than 300 books, D-V-D’s, and audio books on King and the Civil Rights Movement. Also available for students and researchers are a large number of online databases and digital resources on King and the Civil Rights Movement provided free by the Clarke Library and the Department of the Army/Department of Defense.
For access to these electronic resources, patrons will need a Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation G-L-I-S My Library Account, which is available to all service members, retirees, and family members, and can be used without a common access card.
