Bond hearings will be held next Wednesday for two people who have been charged with multiple drug offenses including trafficking in Miller County.
According to court documents, Miller County deputies stopped 45-year-old Anthony Mitchell of Lake Ozark on Route Double-F, just off Highway 54, for following another vehicle too closely. Noticing that Mitchell and a passenger, 36-year-old Jassi Chambers of Eldon, were acting suspiciously, officers eventually discovered multiple suspected drugs and paraphernalia on them and in Mitchell’s vehicle. Fentanyl was reportedly seized among the cache of illegal drugs. They were arraigned Wednesday in Miller County Associate Circuit Court in Tuscumbia on two counts of second-degree drug trafficking and three counts of possession of a controlled substance.
