Boil order for Hickory County town of Preston

Authorities in Preston in Hickory County have issued a boil order for the community until further notice. Officials say there was a water main break in the area yesterday afternoon (Thursday). Preston residents are asked to boil consumable water until conditions improve and officials deem the water safe.
