Boat explosion Sunday injures three

Three people were hurt after a boat explosion Sunday near Point Randall Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks in Camden County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the boat was completely submerged. It happened at a gas dock near Port Randall at the 1.8-mile marker.  The driver of the boat, 55-year-old Dennis S. Kiely of O’fallon suffered minor injuries, his wife, 52-year-old Debra Kiely suffered serious injuries, both were taken to University Health Center in Columbia by air ambulance. 20-year-old dockhand, Megan D. Bartels of Montreal suffered minor injuries and was treated at Lake Regional Health Center.
