Missouri Senator Roy Blunt is optimistic that a federal infrastructure bill is a little closer to an agreement-
He and other Republicans met with the president and have counter-offered a 928-billion dollar package to the president’s 1 point 7 trillion dollar plan.
Blunt told reporters today/Thursday in Washington that his side is flexible to add some things if needed, but that the current White House plan is too big.
