(Dixon)–A Community Blood Center of the Ozarks blood drive will be taking place at Dixon High School later this month. C-B-C-O says it is experiencing a shortage of type A positive, O negative, and B negative blood products. Donations are needed immediately to ensure that adequate reserve levels are maintained. The blood drive at Dixon High School is scheduled for Friday, December 13th, from 8 a-m to 2 p-m. To be eligible to give blood, a person must weigh at least 110 pounds, be in good health, and present a valid photo I-D. During the month of December, participants at all C-B-C-O blood drives will receive a maroon long-sleeved shirt just in time for colder weather.
