BENTON COUNTY SERIOUS

A crash occurred last night in Benton County that left two people seriously injured. The crash occurred on US-65at route AC when 45-year old Lincoln resident Kimberly Martinez was headed eastbound with 24-year-old Taylor Thompson and 34-year-old Chad Tidwell Kasa when she failed to stop at a stop sign. Her vehicle then struck that of 60-year-old Cross Timbers resident Kenneth Hicks, headed southbound. Martinez’s vehicle then traveled off the roadway and overturned. Thompson was seriously injured, and transported by staff for Life Air ambulance to University Hospital. Martinez was seriously injured and transported by Life Flight Eagle to MU. Tidwell Kasa was moderately injured and transported by Warsaw/Lincoln ambulance to Bothwell. Hicks was uninjured.
