Benton County Opens New Jail

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is in their new location on East Main Street in Warsaw. Construction on the new facility began after a sales tax was approved by voters a few years ago. Sheriff Eric Knox said it’s exciting and a morale booster to be in the new facility….

The new facility in Benton County is designed to handle about 100 detainees, which according to Sheriff Knox will save the county money because they won’t have to house prisoners at other locations.
