Mary Mast, the mother of a four-year-old girl killed in Benton County in December 2020, pleaded guilty to a charge of first-degree child endangerment on Wednesday. Prosecutors agreed to drop several other charges due to the plea deal and if Mast testifies against James Mast and Kourtney Aumen. The other defendant, 37-year-old Ethan Mast, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last year.

The girl’s parents, Mary Mast and James Mast and Kourtney Aumen, were charged by authorities for the death of Jessica Mast and are awaiting trial.

Benton County Sheriff deputies found Jessica Mast deceased and wrapped in a blanket on a bedroom floor in a home near Cole Camp.
