Benny Gates of Waynesville has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court

Benny Gates of Waynesville has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville on 2 counts of child abuse or neglect, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, and a charge of domestic assault in the second degree. Court documents allege Gates on March 18th threw a child less than eighteen years of age against the wall and ground, and in doing so, endangered the welfare of a child, and Gates committed domestic assault in the second degree by knowingly causing physical injury to a domestic victim by striking him in the face and head. Benny Gates entered not guilty pleas to the charges. Judge Colin Long ordered him to personally appear in court for a June 5th preliminary hearing
