Bennett Spring Other State Parks Offer “First Day Hikes”

State Parks all over Missouri are providing an opportunity to start the year on your feet. On January 1st, you can participate in a nationwide movement through America’s State Parks called “First Day Hikes.” Information officer Tisha Holden says there are trails to select at varying levels of difficulty.
Bennett Spring State Park near Lebanon will offer the event from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Natural Tunnel Trailhead.
30 state parks are participating in the hike. Google “Missouri State Parks First Day Hikes” for more information. Registration is required but there is no charge.
