Behind the scenes for Opening Day of Bennett Spring fishing

Opening Day of Trout Fishing at Bennett Spring State Park is a little over 2 weeks away, and staff at the Hatchery are busy working behind the scenes to get things ready for anglers. Hatchery Manager Ben Havens says they work year round to make sure that there are plenty of trout on opening day….
Havens said they plan for 3 fish per angler, and stock Bennett Spring with 5-to-7-thousand trout in the water for opening day, March 1st.
