Be Aware of Scammers on New Social Media App

There is a new social media app that is sweeping the nation. The app is called Threads and it is connected to Instagram, so if you have Instagram you can get the app but the Better Business Bureau says that since its new there will be more scammers on there. If you dont have Instagram you can make an account, but if you decide to delete Threads you will be forced to delete your instagram as well. Pamela Hernandez with the Better Business Bureau says to think twice before downloading the free new app.

Hernandez says its always best to make your social media accounts private.
