Be Alert for Bait and Switch Scams
Vacations can be fun especially when you do your research before going on one. The Better Business Bureau recommends that folks be very cautious when they are looking for a vacation spot because there are a lot of bait and switch scams out there. A bait and switch scam is a scam where scammers will take photos of different spots not on the resort you are staying at, and make them popular places on that resort. Pamela Hernandez with the Better Business Bureau says that its best to reserve a head of time for the best deals.
Hernandez says that its always a good idea to look for other input from customers.
Hernandez recommends everyone to use a credit card when paying because if you do get scammed you can get your money back through the credit card company.
