Back to School Tax Holiday

Once again Lebanon and Laclede County will take part in the Back to School Sales Tax Holiday. It’s three days where certain items are taxed exempt for back to school items. Lebanon Area Chamber of Commerce Director, Darrell Pollock has the dates for the tax holiday:

Pollock says, most clothing, school supplies not to exceed 50-dollars per purchases, computer software, personal computers and computer peripheral devices are included:

Pollock says, surrounding counties only offer state sales tax exemption but in Lebanon Laclede County the exemptions cover city, county, and state sales tax. The Back to School Sales Tax holiday will be the weekend of August 7th through the 9th.
