The Back to School Sales Tax Holiday is coming up on August 6th through the 8th. The Back to School Sales Tax Holiday gives shoppers in Missouri an opportunity to save on state sales tax along with some local sales tax. Laclede County and the City of Lebanon have each decided to participate meaning savings for shoppers. Lebanon City Administrator Mike Schumacher said by shopping back to school august 6 through the 8th the savings can be substantial

 

For a back to school purchase of $1000, shoppers in Lebanon will save nearly $80. Several items are exempt from sales tax for that weekend, but to be sure if your purchase is included, speak to a sales clerk in your store.
