Back To School No Sales Tax Weekend

If you need a reason to go on a retail therapy binge this weekend, back-to-school buys are tax free in Missouri. The state’s annual back-to-school sales tax holiday weekend is this Friday through Sunday for state AND local sales taxes on certain items. Some school supplies, computers, clothing, diapers, shoes, and other qualifying items are exempt from all sales taxes. Laclede County and the City of Lebanon are both participating in the tax-free weekend. One very few counties and cities doing so in this area.
