August as Anti-Terrorism Awareness Month
(Fort Leonard Wood)–Fort Leonard Wood is observing the month of August as Anti-Terrorism Awareness Month. The goal is to increase antiterrorism awareness and vigilance.
Lee Porterfield says the emphasis this year is on a wide range of extremes–from insider threats to cybersecurity awareness…and the public can play a role in reporting anything suspicious.
Suspicious activities or behaviors can be reported to the Military Police, local law enforcement, the chain of command, and Army counterintelligence. You can call Fort Leonard Wood’s Directorate of Emergency Services at 573-596-6141 and report what you see.
