Arson Arrest in Pulaski County

A man from Laquey is facing charges after being arrested at the scene of a structure fire in Pulaski County. According to the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 26-thousand block of Swallow Drive on Monday. At the scene, they saw 37-year-old Steven Weymouth standing on the property with a pole in his hand, and refused to put it down. Weymouth was told to put the pole down multiple times but refused and eventually, the deputy used a taser and OC spray to subdue him. According to the report, a box full of drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine was seized. Weymouth is charged with Arson and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $40-thousand-dollars.
