The Miller County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest after a tense standoff in Tuscumbia on Thursday. According to reports, deputies responded to the 500 block of Pea Ridge Road at approximately 12:30 p.m. after a man fired shots in their direction. The suspect then retreated back into his residence, prompting a call for backup from the Sheriff’s Office. With the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol SWAT team, the suspect ultimately surrendered to authorities at approximately 2:30 p.m. At this time, the suspect’s identity has not been released.
