An investigation into a report of a person transporting drugs across county lines, has led to multiple charges against a Springfield man. The investigation began on Tuesday (12/3) when Troopers began looking for a vehicle that was traveling on I-44 from Springfield to Rolla.   The vehicle was located at the 127 mile marker and finally pulled over near the 131 Mile Marker in Laclede County. After the driver refused consent to search, a K-9 was requested. The driver told the officer that he had a gun in the car, and it was removed by Laclede County Deputies. The K-9 allegedly alerted on the vehicle, and officers began a search of the car. Among the items seized were a blotter of LSD, hash oil, and bags of marijuana. Logan Peter Harshbarger was arrested and taken to the Laclede County Jail, where he turned over two small bags of cocaine that had been hidden in his underwear. Harshbarger has been charged with 2 counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a weapon. He remains in the Laclede County Jail with arraignment set for December 16th.
