Area High School Graduations underway

Laquey School District will be among the first again this year to graduate seniors from its high school. Laquey seniors spent their day Monday enjoying the attractions of Silver Dollar City. Today, they will be participating in games with various faculty members. On Wednesday, Laquey senior class members will be checking out of their lockers and taking part in a Senior parade at 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Graduation practice will take Friday morning at 7:45. Doors will open to the public at 5 o’clock Friday afternoon to the Laquey physical education facility, and graduating seniors will begin to arrive at 5:30. The graduation ceremony will be held Friday evening at 6 o’clock.
Plato High School also will be conducting graduation this Friday evening for its seniors. The ceremony will be held at 7 pm inside the new gym.
And this Friday night from 8 to 9 o’clock will see graduating ceremonies held for the graduating seniors at Iberia High School.
Waynesville, Dixon, and Richland will hold their graduation ceremonies Friday evening, May 19th.
Waynesville’s ceremony will start at 7:30 in the football stadium but would be moved indoors in the event of wet weather. An Honor Night will be held on Tuesday, May 16th, at 6 p.m. inside the WHS auditorium.
Dixon’s graduation will be held from 8 to 9 o’clock on May 19th in the gym. Baccalaureate services will be held Wednesday, May 17th, at 6 p.m., with honors night ceremonies starting at 6:30.
In Richland, baccalaureate services will be held Sunday, May 14th, senior recognition night on Thursday, May 18th, and graduation will be held on Friday, May 19th.
Crocker High School will hold Awards Night and Baccalaureate Services on Sunday, May 14th, at 6 p.m. in the high school gymnasium.
Graduation will take place the following Sunday, May 21st, at 3 p.m.
Swedeborg Elementary will have its eighth-grade graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 18th, at 6 p.m., with kindergarten graduation at that time as well.
