Next Tuesday, April 4th, is the date of the General Municipal Election in Missouri. This year, each school district in the state will elect three people to the boards of education, even more, if an unexpired term is involved. In Crocker, the choice for voters will be Brian Foster, Joseph Neighbors, B. J. Medlen, Chrystal Heenan, Tyler Pierce, and Jennifer Burney. In Dixon, Matthew S. Mc Cray, Travin Shelton, Brandon Overshon, and Shannon Perry are running for school board. There is one candidate on the ballot for a one-year unexpired term on the board. He is Matthew Ford. In Laquey, there are six candidates seeking one of the three seats on the school board. They are Michael J. Rogers, Billy Barnett, Clinton Jarrett, Rachel Blankenship, James Helmuth, and Zach L. Shelton. In Richland, there are three candidates–Bruce Goodrich, Jordan Walters, and Barbara Warren–seeking election to three-year board positions. Taylor Barlor will be on the ballot for a two-year term and Warren Powell is seeking a one-year term.
Waynesville has four candidates seeking a seat on the board of education. They are David Griffin, Layne Lercher, Rick Harne (HARN), and Andy Anderson.
The polls will open at 6 o’clock Tuesday morning and close at 7 Tuesday evening.
