An evening with St Nick
One of the most popular fundraising events of the year for Maplecrest Elementary is on the schedule for this week. An Evening With Saint Nick will take place on Thursday night from 5-8, and will feature activities for all ages. Paige Thornhill, with Maplecrest Elementary, says one activity the kids enjoy is making reindeer food to put out on Christmas Eve………..
They will also be making Christmas ornaments to put on the tree………
Funds raised from An Evening With Saint Nick will go toward purchasing books for the new library that is being constructed at Maplecrest Elemetary. Santa will also be making an appearance, and Thornhill encourages all students to have their picture taken with him.
