An 83-year-old Niangua man suffered serious injuries Sunday afternoon on Route CC, 2 miles north of Niangua in Webster County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a 4-wheeler operated by Herald L. Dill experienced a malfunction causing it to accelerate quickly and run into a fence. Dill fell off the vehicle and suffered injuries. He was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
