AmeriCorps' Summer of Service program in the Waynesville School District

Full-time summer associates are needed for AmeriCorps’ Summer of Service program in the Waynesville School District, and today is the last day to apply to be a participant. Associates are needed for both a 10-week program, from May 22nd through July 30th, and an 8-week program lasting from May 26th through July 20th. Associates serve in one or more of several different capacities, including tutoring, mentoring, or clerical and tech support, through the Waynesville R-VI school district or at a community site. Applicants must be 18 and have a high school diploma or GED. They must be a US citizen and must be able to work for the entire 8- or 10-week period.
