A request for a conditional use to operate a short-term rental or AirBnB was approved 5 to 0 at the Lebanon Planning and Zoning Meeting last (Thursday) night. The property that will be rented out short-term is at 389 Oak Street. During the public hearing, a neighbor to the property Charity Lopez showed her support for the short-term rental use.

However, there were concerns over the property not having any parking or a driveway. City Administrator and Commissioner Stokes discuss.

The conditional use was approved, with the condition that the owners of the property create a driveway that will hold at least two cars, or they apply for and receive a variance from the board of adjustment. The approval was 5 to 0.
