Adoption Changes Waiting On Governors Signature
Missouri could be on the verge of taking another step to help find more foster children their forever home. The state Legislature passed a bill this year that would allow the current per-child adoption tax credit limit of up to 10-thousand dollars be adjusted with inflation. Representative Hannah Kelly, of Mountain Grove, says the goal of her bill is to help the more than two-thousand children awaiting adoption.
Her bill awaits a decision from Governor Mike Parson.
