A Marshfield man accused of killing his wife and hiding her body in a freezer entered a plea in court on Monday. 58-year-old Larry Allen Dinwiddie was scheduled to appear in court for a pretrial conference but instead pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, armed criminal action and abandonment of a corpse. Dinwiddie was arrested 4 years after his wife Cynthia Dinwiddie went missing. Dinwiddie was arrested in 2019 after the body of his wife was found in a freezer that had been in storage since 2015. During a domestic dispute, Dinwiddie hit the victim in the face with a hammer and strangled her to death. He then put her body in a freezer, to hide the crime. The freezer was in storage when an employee opened it and found the body. Dinwiddie pleaded guilty on Monday and could be sentenced as early as January 25th, 2022.
