Accused killer sentenced to 12 years in prison

A Waynesville man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after killing his neighbor during a fight in August 2019. The victim, Shawn Raines had been at the residence of Anthony Olden on Fleetwood, when the two men got into an argument which escalated, resulting in Olden jumping on the victim, punching him in the face, and stomping on his head. Olden then left the residence and went to work the next morning. Raines was body was found in his apartment, by a bail bondsman the next morning. Olden pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and was sent to the Missouri Department of Correction.
