A Waynesville man has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court on a felony charge of attempting to escape

A Waynesville man has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville on a felony charge of attempting to escape from confinement.
Court documents allege that Marlon Williams tried to escape from the Pulaski County Jail on May 16th, and while attempting to escape, struck a sheriff’s department officer and threw him to the floor and, in the process, struck another prisoner. Williams entered a not-guilty plea at his arraignment. Judge Colin Long ordered him to personally appear for a May 30th counsel status hearing and a June 5th preliminary hearing.
