A property tax break for older Missourians is on its way to the State Senate. The Missouri House on Wednesday passed the proposal, which would allow counties to grant a property tax credit to homeowners aged 62 and older. To qualify, homeowners could not owe any delinquent taxes, penalties or interests in their county. It’s sponsored by Republican Representative Wendy Hausman of St. Charles County.
