A man from Miller drowned at Stockton Lake on Friday

A man from Miller drowned at Stockton Lake on Friday. According to reports from the Missouri Highway Patrol-Water Division, 52-year-old, Travis A. McCann, fell overboard, went under the water, and never resurfaced around 11:25 p.m. Friday on Stockton Lake at the Orleans Trail Boat Ramp. McCann’s body was recovered by authorities, and transported to Bland-Brumbac Funeral Home. He was not wearing a life jacket. This is Troop D’s first drowning of 2024.
