As everyone in Lebanon and Laclede County knows the storm that hit the area on Monday, May 4th left a lot of damage. Lebanon City Administrator, Mike Schumacker says he was proud of how the citizens pulled together after the storm and city employees worked long hours to restore power and other essential services to the city:

Schumacker says, there was no way to fully be prepared for the damage that came with this storm. He says that’s why having other community partners is so impotent when there is an event like this:

The Floyd Jones Airport took a big hit from the storm. Schumacker says, the old FBO building was a complete loss and some hangers owned by the city will be salvaged:

Schumacker says the final cost from the storm hasn’t been tallied yet.
