A Laclede County teenager and his traveling companion were hurt in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday night

A Laclede County teenager and his traveling companion were hurt in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday night on I-70 in Cooper County. The highway patrol says 18-year-old Mason L. Nyman was driving a 2009 G-M-C Sierra when he fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle ran off the roadway and collided with the ground. Nyman received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. The passenger, 35-year-old Michael E. Boggs, also of Lebanon, was injured moderately and taken to University Hospital as well.
