A fraction of vaccines administered on Tuesday

Lighter than expected numbers of people showed up to get the COVID 19 vaccine on Tuesday afternoon. The latest figures are that only 172 doses of the vaccine were administered during the drive-through vaccine event held at the Cowan Civic Center, which means Laclede County still has a long way to go before reaching a level of herd immunity.  Laclede County Health Department Administrator Charla Baker said it’s important for everyone 16 and older to be vaccinated against the virus….
