A cross-country team of bicycle riders is pedaling its way across the USA in support of Shriners Hospitals for Children. The team will be in Waynesville on Sunday, June 4th. Cycling enthusiasts are riding along with the team for parts of the 45-day trek from the Pacific Ocean in southern California to the Statue of Liberty. Masonic Lodges and Shriners are hosting receptions along the path as well. Shriners Hospitals for Children is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research, and outstanding medical education. Its healthcare system provides advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate. All care and services are provided regardless of the families ability to pay. Shriners Hospitals for Children is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and relies on the generosity of donors. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. For more information, please visit shrinershospitalsforchildren.org.
If you would like to ride along with the team or host any sort of reception, please contact your local Masonic Lodge or a local Shriner.
