After passing through the Missouri House in February, a bill restricting foreign land purchases in the state had its first senate hearing Wednesday.
Republican Representative Mike Haffner of Pleasant Hill is proposing a decrease in how much agricultural land can be foreign-owned, but some believe the bill should go even further. Sarah Petrowich with the Missouri News Network has more.
